The Gym Group has officially opened its doors in Accrington

The Gym Group has opened its first gym in Accrington – and it will be open 24 hours a day.

Opening its doors for the first time on Monday, January 16, The Gym is located just a short walk from the town centre.

Speaking on the opening day, General Manager Tim Weir said: "It's great to open our first gym in Accrington today.

"We have really enjoyed meeting our new members and showing them around our high-spec facilities and equipment, and we’re looking forward to helping more people with their fitness goals."

The new 11,000 sq. ft. gym is based in Eastgate Retail Park, and is a short walk from the town centre, also offering free parking.

The Gym Group Accrington team consists of seven fitness professionals, who are from the local area, and are on hand to support members in a welcoming environment.

The new gym offers over 180 pieces of high-quality fitness equipment, plus a wide range of exercise classes and the opportunity to purchase additional bespoke personal training sessions.
