Prominent Ukrainian rabbi attends dedication of hospital rehab wing after donating equipment

Leading Ukraine Rabbi Moshe Azman joined the dedication of a new rehabilitation wing of a hospital in the city of Chernivtsi in western Ukraine on Friday.

Azman, chief rabbi of Kyiv's Brodsky Synagogue, was invited by the hospital management after contributing the majority of the equipment for the wing. Oblast governor Ruslan Zaparanyuk was present as well.

He spent Shabbat with the city's community and its rabbi, Menachem Glitzenstein.
